History of Projects Handled:
Real Estate Design, Development and Management Projects
We designed and supervised the construction of Corporals and below quarters for the Nigerian Army at Janguza, near Kano, 3 Div. Head Quarters at Jos, 72 Bn. at Makurdi, and Blocks of flats at Dodan Barracks and Bonny Camp also for Corporals and Below personnel.

Aso Riv Consult designed, developed and managed several real estate projects including Medium and Low Income Houses at Sharada Estate in Kano, Runjin Sambo in Sokoto, the North Bank in Makurdi, the FHA estates in Rumueme, and Trans Amadi, in Port Harcourt, River State, Aladinma and Egbeada Housing Estates in Owerri, Imo State, Housing Estate at Baga Road in Maiduguri, Some House types in FESTAC Town Lagos, Kulende Estate in Ilorin, Kwara State, Kubwa Estate phases I and II in Abuja, Asokoro Housing Estate, and Maitama Housing Estate, all in Abuja.

We took part in the research on houses and infrastructure in FESTAC Town to study the behavior of building materials, especially the asbestos roofing sheets under the micro-climatic conditions in Lagos, and also to see residents’ attitudes towards sustainable housing and adjoining infrastructure including sewer lines and their relationship to water reticulation pipes. This was aimed at working towards future designs. The research project was very successful. Following that, we prepared the design, development and management of few of the houses.

We also participated in the studies of the design and management strategies for the development of Middle and Low-income earners’ Housing Estate in Ismailia, Egypt. This project was at that time one of the most successful Government sponsored Mass Housing Estate development in the world, second only to FESTAC Town Project in Lagos Nigeria.
